WALKING DEAD : THE ONES WHO LIVE

When designing the Eversholt Jacket MkII, we had motorcycles in mind. Turns out, it’s also perfect in a Zombie Apocalypse.

At the beginning of 2023, the costume department from ‘The Walking Dead’ got in touch to ask if we would be happy for them to use the Eversholt Jacket MkII in the sequel series, ‘The Ones Who Live’. Obviously we said yes.

The best part… actor Andrew Lincoln who plays the lead character Rick Grimes, personally requested this jacket.

It’s amazing to finally see pictures of the jacket in action. It goes without saying that we’re incredibly grateful to everyone involved - especially Andrew and the head of costume design, Eulyn.

Here are a couple of things we learnt testing the Eversholt MkII in a zombie apocalypse:

• You have a 98% chance of surviving a zombie apocalypse if your jacket is CE approved AAA.
• This drops to 27% if it’s rated AA, and only 11% it the jacket has an A rating.
• Zombie’s are 63% more likely to bite elbows and shoulders. D3O Armour should be worn at all times.
• A neck baffle increases the chance of surviving hand-to-hand combat by 86%.
• Zombie blood has a pH of 1.6; seam-sealed drop liners are essential to prevent acid burns.

Science doesn’t lie.
