Very fine material, wonderful cut (the ratio of length to width is perfect), very functional and well thought-out pockets, high-quality workmanship, great colour and, it keeps you pleasantly warm. Also ideal in summer for the mornings and evenings or on rainy days. Conclusion: A great piece. I would buy the Killian Vest by Ashley Watson again in a heartbeat! Definitely 5 stars!

I've been riding/wearing the Killian vest pretty much every day since November both on and off the bike, work and travel. For me it's a great piece of clothing. Front and side pockets big enough to take wallets/phone, small zip pocket for keys. Light enough you can wear it all year, indoors and out and wear it with t-shirt or jumper, but thick enough to use as a base layer with my Hockcliffe Jacket (also great). It's very well thought out. The only small improvement I would make, because it gets worn both on the bike and casually would be machine washability (label says wipe clean only), otherwise superb.

Prior to purchasing my Eversholt MKI back in 2019, I had been a die hard Belstaff wearer for a good 15 years or more. My next purchase was my Orkney Baffle from Jack at Idle Torque, followed by my Airton Clip and Thurcfroft Hat from yourselves. I then purchased my Killian Vest from yourselves a couple of winters ago, as I was always wearing a woolly fishermans jumper under my Eversholt, which although kept me warm, it bulked me out and made my arms feel a bit restricted when riding. The Killian was a game changer, as it fitted great, and perfectly complemented the Eversholt and Orkney as a wind proof system of layers. I did a 200 mile round trip in February, going from where I live in Birmingham to see my cousin down in Somerset, and felt no windchill on my torso, neck and face at all.

The vest also goes great with my last purchase, the Kilsham Longsleeve, even off the bike, around the house, driving or walking the dog. It’s simple genius in the fact it's double breasted with cleverly thought out pocket spots, and proper buttons, plus no garish large logos, just the tasteful and tactful little AW badge.

I do not say this lightly, but your range of gear is the best I have owned. It’s understated, tactile, well made with quality materials and proper research and design, and more importantly it works. I love this vest, it’s versatile, warm and can be worn either under or over a jacket. There are lots of pockets and handy places to store those important items. It’s also a great jacket for the evening as well. I would highly recommend, I’m actually taking mine to SA with me for my next trip.

As the Eversholt Jacket is rather heavy due to the quality of the materials used a thick lining would be too much to carry, so the Killian Vest is a good substitute for one. It's a real godsend in the cold winters we get here in the foothills of the Pyrenees. Having said that you don't need it this time of the year (July/August) when temperatures are in the low 40*'s.. It's a great fit and the pockets can be used to carry many items. All round, a great item of clothing.

As with all Ashley Watson's clothing the Killian Vest is constructed to the highest quality using excellent materials. The vest itself is true to size and fits well. The offset flap design works well in stopping the wind entering the vest and as such it proves to be a reliable mid-layer. Recommended.

Brilliant piece of riding kit. Paired over my riding shirt or under my jacket it opens up those summer evenings when getting home feels cold. Well designed and snug. Large front pockets solve the problem of where to stick your gloves when you fill up and the zipper pocket is a perfect secure wallet holder to keep it close and handy. Love it. The only improvement I would make would be to include a back protector pocket.

Bought this for my son for his birthday, he had spotted it and tipped me off! He is delighted with it, the fit, look, quality- everything he had hoped for and it’s a perfect layer for riding his motorbike at this time of year, and he can wear under a jacket in winter.

I’ve had my Killian vest for a few days now and it’s already shrugged off the worst that the North Yorkshire weather could throw at it.

It’s lightweight but extremely warm and the DWR coating works perfectly. I was a little concerned at first about the lack of a zip fastening but the double-breasted design coupled with glove friendly buttons meant that my fears were unfounded.

Fit is true to size and the quality of materials used and workmanship shines through. It’s a quality garment and (just in case it isn’t clear) I love it!!

Received the Killian Vest (size XL) on Christmas Eve, but as of yet I'm unable to try it out on my bikes because of weather conditions and salt on the roads.

Having said all that the jacket is well made and a great fit and looks good, being double-breasted it should keep out the cold winds. Bought to wear under my Eversholt Jacket, which is too heavy to have a lining itself but this more than makes up for that.

Yes its expensive, but seems to be worth both the wait and the extra cost. After all, Ashley needs to live, and not sure how he does so from sales alone.
